Russell G. Greig

Currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for AM Pharma (Netherlands), and Syntaxin (UK), and is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Novagali (France). He also serves as a member of Scottish Science Advisory Council, and as a consultant to Genocea Biosciences (USA) and BigDNA (UK).

He joined GSK in 1980 in the Discovery Unit of R&D and held progressive positions of responsibility with R&D. Russell was President of Pharmaceuticals International for GSK from 2003-2008, and Head of SROne, GSK's Corporate Venture Group from 2008 to 2010. Previously he held the position of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Business Development for GSK.. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Manchester, England.

Ulf Tossman

Investment professional at Swedfund International AB.

Previously, Partner and Investment Director of InnovationsKapital, and before that he managed a global life science fund at Carnegie Asset Management, mainly investing in privately held companies. Simultaneously, he managed a technology fund during its divestment phase. Prior to this, he was Executive VP for R&D at Fresenius Kabi. Earlier, he gained extensive experience in drug development as Medical Director at Schering Northern Europe and Project Director for CNS products at Astra Arcus. At Carnegie, Ulf Tossman made 11 investments, whereof 6 made an IPO. He has a broad experience as a board member, and he currently serves as board member in PBM AB. Ulf Tossman holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the Karolinska Institutet.

Björn Sjöstrand

BSc in Economics and Business Administration

Björn Sjöstrand, age 44, has a long career and large
experience from the Life Science sector; he has been working predominantly with vaccine companies and projects. His professional experience includes CFO at SBL Vaccin AB in Stockholm and Active Biotech as VP Operations up 2003. Thereafter as CEO of SBL Vaccines within Powderject and the Chiron Group. He led a management buyout of SBL and after the subsequent acquisition by Crucell, he became group head of the vaccine business unit and later on the CBO of Crucell. Since 2010 he is CEO & Founder of Scandinavian Biopharma AB, focusing on distribution and development of vaccines. He is a board member of Eurocine and Dilaforette. He is furthermore advisor to Gates Foundation  and Vinnova.

Gunnar Fernström

Gunnar Fernström has previously, among other things, been Managing Director for several business areas within SCA Mölnlycke as well as Executive Vice President of the SCA Mölnlycke Group.

Peter Wells

Graduated in veterinary medicine and surgery at the University of Edinburgh in 1969

Before studying for a PhD in Veterinary Pharmacology at the Ontario Veterinary College, Guelph, Canada.
Peter started his career in 1972 at the Moredun Research Institute in Scotland as a veterinary immunologist involved in research infectious diseases of livestock, joining Hoechst Animal Health in new product development in 1980. He stayed with this company for 20 years in various roles, latterly as Head of Vaccine R&D before moving to Novartis Animal Vaccines in 2000 in a similar role. After 4 years as Global Head of Research and Development for Novartis Animal Health, Peter retired in 2008.
In December 2008, Peter became Chairman of Moredun Scientific Ltd and  joined the board of Isconova before being appointed Special Professor in Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics  at the School of Veterinary Medicine & Science, University of Nottingham in July 2009.

Johan Rask

Johan has over 11 years of experience in investing in early stage growth companies. Isconova being one of them when Johan was engaged by InnovationsKapital. Johan is currently Investment Manager at Chalmers Innovations seed fund and holds in addition to Isconova board seats in Watervision AB (publ), Encubator AB and Santosolve AS.  Johan holds a M.Sc from Chalmers University and Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship.
